Wedding Photography that looks like how it felt, for couples who want to be fully present in their day
I photograph weddings quietly and intuitively, documenting the people, the atmosphere and fleeting moments that make the day yours. 35mm film and digital are woven together throughout, creating photographs that feel natural and full of life.
No endless posing, just your wedding, as it really felt.
35mm film
Film is not an afterthought at Hera & Hearth, it is part of the way I see weddings.
I love the softness, grain and colour of 35mm, and the way it transforms fleeting moments into something that already feels like memory.
Film is included in both of my wedding collections, and additional rolls can be added for couples who would like more analogue photography throughout the day. Additional film is always an option, and your day can be predominantly or entirely on film.
All film is professionally developed and scanned, with the finished photographs delivered alongside your digital gallery.
The Full Story ~ £1,500 Up to 8 hours
For couples who want the fuller story; from the anticipation beforehand through the ceremony drinks, dinner, speeches and the evening celebrations.
Includes:
Up to 8 hours of documentary wedding photography
2 rolls of 35mm film and digital throughout (more film is always an option)
A relaxed planning call before your wedding
Help with the photography timeline if needed
A carefully hand edited collection of high-resolution photographs to download print and share
Private online gallery to view and share
A small preview shortly after your wedding
Travel within 50 miles of Sheffield is included
You don’t need to organise your wedding around photographs. I’ll gently step in when a little direction is helpful - for family photographs, portraits or beautiful light, but otherwise it’s about experiencing the day with the people you love.
A Short Story ~ £800 - Up to 4 hours

Perfect for smaller celebrations, intimate weddings, registry office ceremonies or couples who simply don’t need a full day of coverage.

Every wedding is unique, so if neither collection quite fits what you have planned, please get in touch.
Do you travel?
I’m based in the Derbyshire Dales and photograph weddings throughout the UK and Europe. Travel within 50 miles in included with The Full Story and within 25 miles for A Short Story. For weddings further away I’ll simply confirm if there are ay extra travel costs with you before you book. There will never be any unexpected extras.
Want even more film?
If you love the look and feel of 35mm as much as I do, additional film can be added to either collection or the collection tailored to accommodate that.
Do you photograph weddings entirely on film?
I photograph weddings using a hybrid of both digital and 35mm film, however shooting on film is my absolute favourite medium and I’ll happily incorporate ad much as you want into your day. The whole day on film is a grainy day dream. Let’s chat!
We’re awkward in photographs, is that a problem?
Not in any way. Most couples say this to me. You won’t be expected to know how to post or perform. I’ll give you gentle direction when it’s useful and otherwise everything will unfold naturally.
Booking
To secure your wedding date, I ask for a 25% booking fee and a signed agreement. The remaining balance is due closer to your wedding day.
Once your date is booked, I’ll be there to help with any photography questions along the way, and we’ll be in touch during the run up to the wedding so I can get to know you, understand what matters most and make sure the photography feels completely natural on the day.
